A free, “Guitar and Bass 101” class for the LGBTQIA+ Community (and allies!)

Always wanted to play guitar or bass, but didn’t know where to start? Or, maybe you’ve already

started playing, but want to feel more confident with the guitar or bass you have?

If that sounds like you, come join us for a fun, no-pressure class where we’ll explore basic

technique, chords and scales, rhythm and groove, and how to read tabs so you can start

learning your favorite songs with confidence.

Lighthouse is a peer-to-peer social support program for students who experience marginalization or discrimination based on who they are. Our groups are relaxed and social in nature.

We build community through art, games, and discussion. No bullying is ever allowed, and everyone is given a chance to be heard in a safe and casual setting. Youth from any town are welcome at any group or special event.
